Pickup & Delivery Services

PODS initiated the concept of transporting the storage container to you. PODS provides the ultimate in convenience, security and affordability, whether you are moving or storing your belongings.

PODS gives you extra storage space for your home or business. Use your PODS Brand Container for on-site storage at your home or business so you can have immediate access to your belongings. Or, store it at our dry and secure PODS warehouse, where you can have access within 24 hours with just a phone call. Whether you're in need of convenient short-term, interim or long-term self-storage arrangements, PODS offers a variety of cost-effective options.

PODS Brand Containers – designed and manufactured by PODS, are a steel frame construction with a marine grade wood interior. The container is clean, sturdy and weather – resistant. Engineer certification confirms that a partially full container can withstand a wind velocity of up to 110 miles per hour.

Patented Hydraulic Lift System – is available only with PODS. This system is designed to gently raise and lower the container off the transport vehicle, significantly reducing any shift in contents during the delivery/pick-up process.

Ground Level Loading – ensures for easy packing and un-packing with no uphill ramps or awkward lifting. PODS brand containers are just 4 inches off the ground and afford you the luxury of packing at your leisure and only once.

Convenient and Cost-Effective – moving and storage options. PODS services local, interim and inter-franchise moves to most cities across the country or choose from a variety of storage options. Insurance for Your Items You maintain complete responsibility for the items that you place inside your storage unit. PODS bears no responsibility for your items. As such, Bargain Relo recommends that you seek additional insurance from the PODS itself. Some home owner's and renter's policies cover theft off premises, and would cover what is in storage. To find out if this applies to you, call your home owners or renter's insurance provider. Take a complete inventory and keep it current.

Loading your PODS

Packing

Furniture

• Cover all furniture and disassemble, if possible.
• Wrap table legs with packing paper as scratch protection.
• Lay down blankets between the furniture and the floor of the POD.
• Place assembled tables top down on floor with legs pointing towards the back of the POD away from the door.
• Stack chairs seat-to-seat with cloth or paper separating them.
• Avoid stacking or leaning furniture against outside walls.

Large Appliances and Equipment

• Leave appliance doors slightly ajar. Moisture and mildew will damage your valuables so make sure your refrigerator or freezer is clean and dry.
• Use valuable storage space inside appliance's for small items.
